Berry report 9-9-06

Well took the boat out after getting the fuel pump fixed and she purreddd like a kitten.Ran up to the berry fished from 7:30-12:30 caught a few here and there.It wasnt the best (becasue of the full moon).It was sure nice to be back on the water.The leaves are starting to change should very pretty in a week or so.All cutts were in the slot fished all over the lake not to many boats.

Good information; thanks! I like the Berry in the fall, for the lack of boats and great colors. But especially for the turned on to the cool weather trout!
Were you seeing fish but just found them inactive? Any particular depth you were seeing them?

We marked fish at all depths.They were just mouthing the jigs not really active.give it few days and they will be on agian!

Glad the boat is running well. Got a call from a buddy that is up there now, and they have been having an OK day. They have landed a couple of 25" today, but he said it just hasn't been very fast fishing. He said they were verticle jigging as well.
