BIG Arizona Bass
#1
[cool]Here's the pic and the story for Clif, from the Arizona archives.

On 1-28-2002 I caught this monster bass (17.13 lb.) from the same lake (Canyon
Lake, Arizona). SEE http://www.vsps.com/1-28-20022bass.jpg

My partner Steve Bozek netted her for me. We immediately cleaned the boat and
tackle and headed for the marina to weigh her. The marina was suppose to have a
State certified scale for our use. We hunted down and found the security guard. He
could not find the scale. He went to the location of the manager knocked on the
door at 12:00 midnight. He ask the manager if she could gain access to the scales.
She said no. The scales was locked up and she did not have a key to that location.

We showed the bass to the security guard and told him we would have to kill this
State record bass if we wanted to register it. This was nonsense.

About a week later I heard that Ron Casner caught his 17 lb.
