Deer Sausage

I was talking to someone about how they had thier deer sausage processed the other day and I was wondering some of you guess did it. I've always mixed mine half deer half domestic pig sausage, with a little added spices. I talked to a guy that mixed his with beef and another guy that kept it all deer and didn't mix it at all.

I've never NOT mixed my deer up with something, has anyone not mixed it? How did it come out? What about mixing it with beef?
