Stand Up Rod for Penn 130 ST

Hi Folks,

am new around here, my friend and I have purchased a Penn 130 ST Conventional reel each for and we now want to know what is the best match for a stand up Rod for these reels, we will mainly be chasing sharks........................I am new to this whole thing so excuse my ignorance, my friends father and law has the appropriate boat.

We saw these reels on special in the staes as there discontinued and decided to purchase them for this purpose (sharks maybe tuna) we know they might be a bit over done but though they represented good value considering what they cost in Australia.

Hey there PC3. As far as a rod, I have matching Penn Mariner stand up rods. I also chase big game fish, to include your famed sharks, and they are one of the best rods for the money.
