Granby 10-21-06
#1
Fished Granby for lakers with a friend on Saturday. Fought heavy snow and icy roads to get there. Then fought ice cold winds almost the entire time. Fished from 8:00 AM until 1:15 PM and we managed 25-30 fish between us, but all were pups. The biggest was in the 3.5 lb range. Surface temp was 45-47 degrees.

All fish were taken on tube jigs with sucker meat from 20-35 FOW, right against the rocky shorelines where they're spawning. Lots and lots of fish stacked up! Easy pickin's if the wind isn't blowing you all over!

Despite the wind it was a good day.

Thanks again!

Yes, it was fun! Now I just need to find enough time to get back up there. Good luck if you go this weekend, Jay. Looks like I'll be stuck in the office Saturday.
