11 Mile on 12-31-06

Fished 11 Mile on New Years Eve. Fishing was slooow but the fish are nice when you get one. Started the day at Stoll Mtn at sunup at a brisk -12. Broke off a big fish early dsue to operator error. Landed a fat 17" rainbow, too, but didn't matk any other fish. Moved to Lazy Boy about 11:30 and marked quite a few fish but only had 1 hit, a plump 13" or so. Quit at 1:00 so I could get home for most of rhe Bronco game. (Should have just fished on....) All on small jigs and waxworms.

Are you planning on heading out again anytime soon? I was is Ca. that week but still am interested in hitting the hard deck soon!
