Started at first light catching bait and man was it cold. The shad were hard to catch and deep, by the the time I got enough to fish with the nose of my boat could be compared to an ice skating rink! We did manage to catch 13 stripers up to 6 lbs. in the Minooka area fishing 24 to 30 feet. We also caught about a 1/2 dozen whites in the same area!<br><br>
