[black]Disclaimer and clarification for any innocent bystander reader/lurker folks that might stumble by this tread: [/black]
[black][/black]
[black]I could be wrong, but I think the original poster was refering to "Wipers" - a striped bass/white bass hybrid. And, blowfish are really a legitimate fish species in the ocean - I've caught them, so I know they exist.[/black]

Hello Guest,
I've only been out here a couple of years so haven't fished a ton of spots and haven't fished the waters outside Pueblo. Its close though so I will have to give it a run next time I go to Pueblo.

I've mostly fished 11 mile, granby, pueblo, Spinney, and Tayloer Reservaoirs.

The Wiper, as they are commonly reffered to, are fun to fish for. We have a annual Wiper Tourney up in Utah and last year I had the pleasure of attending. Guys you should make it up for this years tourney, you can check out pics from last year at:

[black]I can vouch for how fun the tournies are. And I might add that not only is the fishing fun, but the food and the company were great too ! [/black]

[black]Yes, you could tube or toon. The year before last, another BFT angler and I were in kayaks. And one BFT angler that could not register in time to be in the tourney, fished it from the shore and I think(if I remember right) he got one of the largest fish that year. [/black]
