[cool] 'Bout time the float tubin' fraternity got some recognition and respect. Here's a link to an article in the Arizona Republic Outdoors section this morning.

For anyone who's never tried it, "dip-sticking" with a long crappie rod...from a float tube...can be a great way to put some crappie fillets in the pan. And, while you are dropping little crappie jigs around shallow structure, you can be surprised by big bass and some cats too. In fact, after the crappies finish with their spring fling, try going back to the same stickups to flip for bass. The stealth afforded by float tubes lets you get up close and personal without spooking the fish.
