Mantua
#1
Me and the brother in law went out to mantua to fish we took our float tube and got there about 8:00 and left about 11:00 . There were quite a few people there. We fished the east end and had a couple of bites but could never hook up. we mostly fished with jigs but threw out a couple of spinners with no luck. Not to bad of day at least I didn't have to work and it was peaceful until the wind picked up about 10:30.

If anyone has any tips on fishing mantua let me know that was the first time I have been there with out ice.

[#ff0000]I've only fished there once in warmer water, no trout but cleaned house on the bass with... should I say it - should I say it - [#ff0000]a flatfish - [/#ff0000]AARRUGGHHH! I said it! I'm excited that you can keep a couple for fillets this year. I'll be back soon with that flyrod flatfish in tow now that the water is softer. [/#ff0000]
