Southwest Miramichi River Report - 03/29/07 (New Brunswick, Canada)
#1
After lots of rain and fog through the first half of last week, followed by sunshine and the temperature rising to as high as we've had so far this year in the past couple of days, parts of the river are starting to open up a bit. Most of the river is still covered in ice and snow, but you can see the water all along the eastern shore and in some spots in the middle of the river. It's exciting to be able to watch and hear the water running for the first time in months, and even more exciting to think that in a little over 2 weeks fishing season begins!

Hi Casey,

I edited your post only for photo size.. we try to keep them under 450 pixels wide.

hope the cold snap this last week hasnt put a damper on your fishing...

it did down here in southern michigan, but nowheres near what it did in the upper michigan where they got 42 inches of snow this past week...

things should be getting back to normal this week..
