Wyndotte launch is a madhouse , trenton has had it's share of rude boaters .
Ecorse launch , I'm not shure if it still exists . Ballenger in rouge , no word on them yet , D.N.R. LAUNCHES TO THE SOUTH , MUST BE OPEN BY NOW .

you ever try seven sisters?

there was another one just north of there off of jefferson and then the one north of that is south ridge but it is way up in to the lake.

going out from south ridge I havent a clue as to where to go for the walleye, It looks like at least 10 miles out to the channel.

North end of Lake St. Clare , Harsens island channel is going strong now , plenty of limits being taken but , I think this weekend fishing will be rough .
The minn-kota fish barometer says today is the poor section , rating a 7 .

In a years time I hadnt sold it so my cousin picked it back up and took it home and parked it under an oak tree. well he realy didnt have time to take care of it while off at collage and working, so it sat out in the open for two years. well last week his folks wanted it out of the yard so well to make a short story even shorter its mine now. other than repairs, I find my self looking at having to learn federal boating regs, what I have to have to go in the boat to be able to go out in to the shipping lanes. I have alway been a passenger, this is the first time I have owned a boat big enough to get out on lake st clare. thanks for the clue on a spot to go, I will have to find a port close to the chanel, maybe the state launch next to the blue water bait shop. thats another hours drive by car. not that I dont mind the boat ride, I dont think I can carry that much fuel to make a boat trip like that and with the west provailing winds, I would hate to have to change my native toung [laugh]

First thing you are going to need is a leaf blower !!!!![laugh]
My tags ran $17.00 this year .
2 life vests , one for you , one for dog .
1 throwable life preserver , I use a boat bumper on mine as one .
a set of oars or a trolling moter, in case your main moter goes out .
a whistle or one of those caned horns .
a flag or something to wave if in trouble .
an anchor and rope .
Bait and a fishing stick is a must .
your boat regestration in a watertight container (zip-lock bag )
small first aid kit
signal light

That's all I CAN THINK OF OFF THE TOP OF MY HEAD , They got a book at the secutary of state or on line .
I got a big plastic boat tank , new , never used , you are welcome to it .
send me a addy in a P.M. and i'll ship it off to you . it will help me to clear my shed out [Smile].

no cooler half filled with ice for the massive walleyes perch and gills I will undoubtably come in with?

if you would like to keep track of how it is coming along, you can follow it on this stirng. [#333366]my little project[/#333366]

there are a couple boats on that string in the restoring process. Tom has a nice nice bluegill boat in dry dock at the moment.

you dont have a picture of it do ya? I cant picture in my mind what it looks like or dementions.

I want to make every thing to have its place in the boat.
