[size 1]I was invited out on my friends boat. 55 footer. We headed out to the Anacapa Gap in search of the mighty lead eating stones.
We (5 of us) arrived on our 1st spot running against some light swell of 3 to 5 at 8s.
We managed to catch a nice Eddy which kept us swirling on a nice stone for over an hour. After the first 30 fish, we moved on to another stone to make a few sweeping drifts.
We ended up with some nice Blues, Reds, Whiteys and a Female Sheepdog. We had several visits from the Lingos but none could hang for the party.
After achieving boat limits in around 4 hours, I tried to talk the Skipper into a little brush with weeds. He nerved so we couldn't go in on the big game.
We hit the barn by 5pm, cleaned the boat and parted ways.
