]Mid March fishing was up and down off Mazatlan as is the case most anywhere you fish some days the fish are on some days there not that is a reality of fishing! Mazatlan saw more cooler and windier days then normal this winter which led to a little slower fishing for some species. Bottom fishing in March was not good, offshore had better days than others but the over all average was pretty good. There was a good share of all three species of Marlin and Sailfish, some nice Mahi Mahi taken. One succesful trip on March 21 2007 was taken by Mike and Jehn Hahn of Arizona. They caught 2 nice Mako Sharks and although they did get a billfish of the several taken that day all all and all they had a great trip to this port city and plan to return for there trophy! Thanks for the great setup in Mazatlan. Captain and first mate were first
rate guys. We had a great time! Definitely something we will do again in
the future.
