Green River

I will be going to the Green River at the end of the month.

Are there some special flies that I need to make sure I have along with the several hundred other flies I have in my vest pockets.

Do I need to walk in several miles from little hole or the dam to get to some good fishing?

Is most of the river in between the same kinds of water or are the characteristics quite different?
