Forsythia blooming
#1
[cool][cool] With these flowers showing up it's time to go striper fishing in the Hudson river. Herring are being reported in Roundout creek and catskill creek. Water temp is closing in on 50 deg. After the first wave of stripers [called scouts] the big girls will be in they can reach up to 60 pounds and larger. The state record for striper in the hudson is 55 lbs. this record is only a couple years old but it's time to break it. So get your gear ready and hit the water. Shore or boat anyone can do it. See you on the water. Chief
