Morel Season is upon us !

The black caps are starting to show up and with the last few days of rain I can bet they are going to take off quick this season .

How's the hunting going in your area ?

I am sure they are up in my area, tho I havent found one in a few years...

dont really look for them all that much... I just like to find them and then leave them be, I prefer puff balls...

I just finished up the last of my puff-balls a couple weeks ago .
Fried venison steak , sliced puff-balls and wild onions .
The wild asparagas is starting to come up now , I should have waited and had a complete "wild michigan dinner " .
