Pineview & Willard 5-11-07
#1
[#002850]Hit Pineview in the morning and Willard in the afternoon with Petty4Life. Fished Pineview from about 6:45 AM to 10:30 AM. Water was 60* back in the bays and 58 out in the deep water. We were out in the back bays targeting muskys and did a lot of casting with buz baits, top waters, and cranks with no luck. Decided to troll for a while and PFL picked up one young 26 inch musky. I can't say I even had a bite. [/#002850]

Left Pineview, got lunch, and launched at Willard at about 12:30. Water temps are up to 68-70. We trolled lots of different things that have produced in the past but only got a few good hits and one very healthy walley.

My fishfinder went belly up and so we left around 5:30.

I would call it a very slow day but better days are just around the corner. Thanks for joining me P4L. I enjoyed getting back out on the water with you again.[/#002850]

Hey Ralph,

BL is a much better place to have a slow day fishing.

Glad both of you could make it out. At least there was no skunk on board!

Good starter muskie Jason. I've put in 10 hours and haven't caught one yet.
