Antelope Lake

[font "Verdana,Arial,Helvetica"][black][size 1][font "Verdana,Arial,Helvetica"][black][size 1][size 1]Antelope Lake and Dam are located on upper Indian Creek, a tributary of the North Fork Feather River, about 43 miles northeast of Quincy. The lake and dam are the smallest of the three Upper Feather River lakes and dams (Davis, Frenchman, and Antelope), however, Antelope Dam has the longest crest (top of structure). Antelope Lake began storing water a month after completion of the dam to meet the increasing demand for water-oriented recreation and to improve fishing in Indian Creek by assuring a constant, yearlong flow of water below the dam.
