gotcha plugs
#1
Hi again fellow fisherfolk, this is Neil from Trinidad. When fishing for Spanish Mackerel (Carite), we usually small jigs or spoons or live bait. But recently I visited the Longbeachpier website out of Carolina and the craze seemed to be Gotcha Plugs. Can anyone with experience with these plugs attest to their reliability?

Neil

Are you shore casting or trolling from a boat for those Spaniards?

Either way, and while I have no doubt that the Gotcha's are a good plug i find them a bit light for casting.. I prefer Rapala's because of they are a bit heavier in the body, have a tight body action and chromed bib. Lot's of nice flash from that and especially useful if your casting them from land.

From a boat I get biased ofcourse in favour of our bladed Semtex Lures (ballyhoo profile).

Burnin Thumbs!

Steve B
Moderator Lures/Baits Forum
http://www.demonjigs.com
