Scofield 6/16
#1
[Smile] Never in my life have I seen that many boats on the water @ Scofield. It was another treat to park the boat trailer & this was @ 7:00am. Then drive through obstacle course out to the fish south side of island. The fish must have been everywhere though, cause the boats sure were [cool]

On the water, to our lucky spot. Somewhere south of the island [sly]
I had brought my kids & one of my brothers kids. We had 4 poles, but before we had pole 3 in the water, fish was on. Not much fishing going on this trip for the guide.[sly]

Kids had a blast & trip to remember. Pulling doubles about three different times. Almost wondered if I ought to get a 2nd net. They were taking about any color of the play dough.
Wind was bearable with the temp being warm, felt nice. Off the water by 2:00pm with fish to fry for supper.

Fish were all beauty rainbows. About 1/2 boated were 10 -12 "
Caught about 5 that weighed between 1lb 13oz - 2lb 10oz.
Sorry no pics, battery was doa in camera this a.m.

I'm surprised that there were that many boats out there. I know the DWR has been pimping Schofield as the put and take trout fishery as of late...must be working.
