MALIBU SURF FISHING
#1

[Wink]MALIBU THIS WEEKEND WAS SLOW. WE ARIVED THERE AT 5:00AM.THE TIDE WAS SO LOW, THAT THE HOMIES AN I HAD TO GO IN HALF WAY OUR BODIES ON THE WATER BUT THAT WASN'T GOING TO STOP US FROM FISHING OR CATCHING FISH. AFTER A FEW CUTS AND SCRATCHES FROM THE ROCK ON THE SHORE (THAT WE WERE STANDING ON) I HIT A 3lb CALICO BASS AT FIRST MY LINE 10 lb "STREN" GOT CAUGHT ON THE ROCK, BUT AFTER PLAYING IT A LITTLE BIT I GOT IT OFF AND BROUGHT IN THE FISH. THE HOMIE "CHALAN" CAUGHT A 5lb CALICO ON ANCHOVY HE WAS VERRY EXCITED BECAUSE IT WAS HIS FIRST BIG CALICO. WELL ANN THE REST OF THE HOMIES LETS SAY WE ARE GOING BACK NEXT WEEKEND SAME TIME SAME PLACE[Smile][/i]

Welcome aboard and thanks for the nice report of the Malibootie. I like fishing there for the Flatty Mattys. I guess the water warmed up enough for the Cali's to come out and play.

Don't forget to stop on by the Cali board too. We could use a few local reports there.

Thanks[cool]
