Kids Fishing Show Needs Help
#1
I want to produce a kids fishing show for cable access t.v. in the T.C. area. It'll be me and a couple kids and we'll invite various celebrites to come out and fish with us for a couple hours on a small lake in Bloomington.

I got almost everything I need (boat, tackle, safety vests, etc) but don't know any kids in the area who'd be up for it. Anybody got any ideas/ organizations I could contact that'd supply me with kids?

Thanks,

Odin.

P.S. -- I've caught several bass in the 3-lb range this year, but nothing bigger, although I had a sucker minnow taken by something huge that cruised away like a submarine making my drag go ZZZZZ for a couple of seconds -- and then it bit me off. (Dammit, why did I take my leader off?)

P.P.S -- Just posted a very short underwater action video clip if anyone's interested in checking it out.

P.P.P.S. -- I assume it's not kosher to post the video here as an attachment. Is that right? I'm not familiar with the protocols here so I hope my ignorance won't be a problem.

Hey Odin. That sounds like a great idea! There are numerous places that have kids they might be willing to let you borrow. Send me a PM and I'll give you the names of a couple people to contact.

BTW, why do you want to limit it to the one lake in Bloomington? Why not wander around to other lakes as well? We both know there's lots and lots of them.

use this link found at the top of every page and provide a link to your vidio in your post.

Orginization to seek out would be your local county 4-H extention. they have a youth with multi tallants like public speaking, original thought, fishing, showmanship. and many others....

I think you may have a show worth watching, especialy if you can make it a saturday morning venue.

good luck and keep us advised to how you fair with your venture....
