It had been a while since my last blackfishing trip to [url "http://http://www.scale-tales.com/?q=thismonthlocation/1703333"]Stockton breakwall[/url]. After a couple hours of fishing I'd caught one good sized blackfish and two monsters on green cabbage.
I took them back to the inlaws house to show them my catch(and take some photos) before going down to the boat ramp to clean and fillet them.
I thought I'd fillet the small one first to practice my filleting technique. While I was carefully slicing the fillets off the first fish the local pelicans start to surround the cleaning table waiting for the scraps (at least thats what I thought).
All of a sudden out of the corner of my eye this large orange mouth comes and grabs at the two largest fish laying right next to me on the fish cleaning table. And off the pelican flies with both my fish in its mouth.
Arrgghhh - Watch out for the pelicans
