I built this lake trout ice fishing rod from a old broken Garcia rod that was given to me. it's 50 in. casting rod, but I don't think it will be casting. 5 fuji hardloy guides and tip. now just hope the Gorge freezes up. later chuck

Very nice Chuck. We should plan a trip and brake it in along with the twins, they have yet to fell the bendo of a lake trout.

Ok, sounds like a plan to me. ashley is going to let me know when the ice is safe. so we should be able to get up there at first ice up. and first ice up can be the best fishing. I'll keep you posted on whats going on up there. later chuck
