A little off topic on the subject of cutthroats. There is a great book called "Many Rivers to Cross, (Of Good Running Water, Native Trout, and the Remains of Wilderness)" by M.R. Montgomery, that has a lot of history on cutthroats, but is definately no textbook, (although fly-fishing related, it is not a fly-fishing book either). I considered it great winter reading last year. Anyhow, this thread reminded me of it. FWIW
