[green][cool]Yes it does. How nice it must be to be able to fish almost in one's backyard. Down here it is either pay to play or find a mud hole that no one wants to fish. How close are you to a nice river or stream?[/green]

[cool][green]Hi MacFly - check out this list of places to fish in SoCal. Been to the west fork of the San Gabriel River right after labor day. You might recall how disappointed I was with the area being trashed.[/green]

DR,

Thank you for the ref to the list.. I really had no idea.. I guess I kind of limit myself to one area since that is the area I am familiar with...

I do recall that discussion about picking up after yourself and your comments on the condition of that area...

Maybe we can all set up a trip to one of these waters.. say in the spring.. [Smile]

..I remember as a kid growing up in St Louis there would be mornings when we got up that there would be snow on the ground and all the trees were like these.. covered with ice.

One thing I know for sure is that you did not want to be under one of those trees later in the day as things warmed up. All of the ice deciding it was time to let go at the same time made for a loud crashing noise... [Smile]
