I dunno fellas. LOL A 500+ pound shark and a 12 year old boy? My son is 12, and there is no way in hell he could have landed a shark that size. A 60 pound Baracuda wooped his tail. LOL [Tongue] Sounds fishy to me. A shark that size would have tested even the most fit grown man. Not that a 12 year old couldn't have done it, it just sounds hard to believe. I don't think that I could've landing a fish that big with out help. The only way would be if I were strapped into an honest to God fighting chair that supports your back and weight. And then had a really high speed reel so I didn't have to crank so many times. Maybe then I could have done it. [cool]

More like electric "A$&" LOL!!!!!!!! But hey, i'm sure if daddy slipped the skipper a few extra bucks, he was more than happy to go along with the story. He could obviously afford to slip him a few bucks if he could afford to fly to florida and pay for a charter. That's not a cheap vacation. [Wink]
