Got up there about 10:30 before the sun hit the canyon and it was COLD! fished near the turnoff and landed 10 in a couple of hours, between de-icing my eyelts and reel it turned out to be a good few hours, largest brown being about 17" and 1 nice cutbow mixed in for good measure. When the sun hit the water it helped alleviate some of the cold, the water is nice and clear. Still lots of Redds around so be careful when wading.

Almost forgot, the fish were hitting hares ears, gray scuds, and disco midges. There was a bit of a midge hatch when the sun came up but I didn't see enough rises to make me switch over.

Thanks Remo_5_0. Great report. I hit the middle and did pretty good with a #22 BWO Cripple trailing a #22 black WD40.

You had better luck than I did. I hit the Weber river that day from 10 till noon and got nothing. I was using hare ears, prince nymphs, red zebra midges and tries a san juan worm. had one on briefly, but that was it.
