Captain Dave Hanson of Fishbuster Charters fished 17miles southwest of Wiggins Pass in the Gulf, north Naples, and also in multiple locations throughout Estero Bay this week, using live shrimp and light spinning tackle. Clients Lee Bialkowski, Mike Benfante, George Adams, and Dick Slama fished gulfside, and caught sixteen keeper mangrove snapper to 20 inches, keeper sheepshead to 15 inches, gag grouper to 21 inches (released), and large porgies and grunts. Client Dick Pinkett caught sheepshead to 14 inches and jack cravalle in Estero Bay, along the Wiggins channel. Clients Tom Iverson, Bob Potter & Ray Ford caught a 22inch redfish, a 24 inch black drum, jack cravalle, mangrove snapper, and three keeper sheepshead in the central bay. Clients Mark & Jody Wagner caught keeper mangrove snapper, keeper sheepshead, and a 17 inch gag grouper (released) in central Estero Bay.
