Held this year from May 30th to June 1st, 2003, this FHNB event started in 1994, has been widely successful in its ability to grow and outreach to more participants each year. CHIPPEWA VALLEY, WISCONSIN

On the third weekend of August, the 16th & 17th, the Chippewa Valley chapter will be holding their third annual event at Paradise Shores on beautiful Lake Holcombe, a truly premier fishing lake. Under the new direction of the Center for Independent Living for Western Wisconsin, Inc. this chapter promises to grow and prosper tremendously. HAYWARD, WISCONSIN

This is the "Granddaddy" of all the events, where the concept and first event was held on the Chippewa Flowage in 1988. Since that time over 1500 participants and hundreds of volunteers at this 3-day event have been involved in a fishing experience that they may have only dreamed about before. Experienced guides, boats, bait, fish cleaning, meals, emergency medical care, awards, and prizes are made available to each participant. MADISON, WISCONSIN

Held on the 2nd weekend of July each year (2003's dates are July 12-13) at Governor Nelson State Park on wonderful Lake Mendota this event started in 1995 has seen nothing but an outpouring of support and popularity. By introducing adaptive equipment that will aid the disabled angler, an atmosphere of friendship and camaraderie is alive and well at this people-helping-people event.
