fishing tackle in Shreveport.LA??
#1
well now where do i begin ? ( i didnt know where to put this post)

im new at this fishing forum and im from sweden Smile

im going to a town called shreveport (1of march) and it lies in Louisiana , and now im wondering are there any tackleshops there ? im looking for a lot of casting reels like abu garcia amabasSadör c3+c4 and the revo reel (all kinds) and daiwa megaforce+viento

here in sweden these reels are reallly expensive so i thought i would buy about 10-15 reels Smile and a lot of swimbaits and similar ..

i dont have time to go to Cabelas because im busy on the weekdays:/

are there anyone who can help me ?

best regards Paul

You can get the Abu Garcias at Wallmart. They are under the glass case in most of the stores.

I was just in that area this week. There is a Bass Pro Shop there in the downtown area. It is right near the boardwalk and the airport.[cool]

Went to your website. I could not read any of the links because I only read english, but I did see one gallery with some very nice carp and some species I did not recognize.

Good luck in Shreveport.

hi there lewis

well thank u Smile

yeah we have some different fish here than whats in the us waters , we only have 20-30 lakes that have carp Sad
the specimen fishing is really big over here for example carp/tench/rudd/roach/crucian carp/chub/orfe/bream/grayling/pike/perch/zander (a kind of walley)/burbot Smile

im really lookin forward to get to shreveport this weekend , but i wonder where i can fish after the classes hmmm

we are doing some updates to our homepage to fix it a little bit and make an english section so that we can show us to the whole world that we are a couple of fishing maniacs hehe ....

fishin is everything !

[cool] Hi, and welcome to BFT.
I live in NE Louisiana and I can tell you can visit an Academy Sports store in Shreveport or cross the river into Bossier and visit the Bass Pro Shop on the boardwalk. It is on the Red River. The Boardwalk has all kinds of shops and resturants. You can go to the Bass Pro Shop and then walk around and see the other shops. You can go on the internet and get the directions to both of these stores.
Have fun and enjoy your visit to Louisiana.

hello, again!
Bass Pro Shops and Academy Sports has any and everything that you could or would want. I love shopping at both of them.
you can go to their websites : www.bassproshops.com and www.academysports.com to check them out. they basically have in the stores what is available online.
B.A.S.S. and The FLW tour both fish the Red River. You should catch some nice bass.
Nice picture.

I forgot to tell you that Shreveport and Bossier are two towns. All you have to do is cross the Red River and you are in one or the other. Bass Pro Shops is on the Bossier side of the river and Academy Sports is on the Shreveport side of the river. Bass Pro Shop is close to the Casinos.(the Horseshoe)
