slow trolling with a KITE for sailfish, king maks, dolphin fish etc.
#1
there isnt really much information on here about slow trolling with a kite, its one of the most effective ways ive caught everything from sailfish, to dolphin fish, king macks, and even the ocasional shark... especially this time of year when the black tips are migrating in the hundreds just outside of the second reef .

here are a few really good articles on kite fishing

my favorite bait to put under a kite is a lively goggle eye, those things are one amazing bait, they last forever, they swim in nice little circles under the kite and splash at the surface. you can also pin them several times drop them on the deck a few time when running to a new spot and they still keep kicking

hope this helps as the sailfishing and dolphin fishing is really picking up and kites have been a hot ticket.

tight lines!
