New Jersey Wildlife Action Plan Update
#1
The most recent version of NJ's Wildlife Action Plan is now available on the Division of Fish and Wildlife web site at http://www.njfishandwildlife.com/ensp/waphome.htm .

The NJ Wildlife Action Plan (Plan) is a blueprint for the future conservation of our state's species of greatest conservation need. It is not a plan solely for the NJ Division of Fish and Wildlife, but rather a plan that can be used by the general public, conservation organizations, planners, regulators and many levels of federal, state, county and municipal governments.

The Plan continues to undergo revisions for refinement, clarification, and enhancement to ensure necessary conservation objectives are not overlooked. This is considered a dynamic document and as such, the Division of Fish and Wildlife continues to accept recommendations and comments regarding potential improvements/refinements to the Plan.

Please visit the Plan web page and review your area of interest in NJ and weigh-in on the conservation of our wildlife species of greatest conservation need. Comments on the plan should be submitted online through the link at the bottom of the Plan web page.
