Pursuant to Code of Maryland Regulation 08.02.15.12(H), DNR has modified the striped bass December gill net daily catch limit. The December daily catch limit has been replaced with a total allowable weekly catch limit of 2,500 pounds per licensee. This total allowable weekly catch limit will expire at 11:59 p.m. on Monday, December 31, 2007. This change is recommended by the Tidal Fisheries Advisory Commission when the December gill net quota is in excess of 200,000 pounds.
