Unidentified Fish
#1
So I was fishing in a really small creek in Marietta, Georgia, where there were a lot of small bluegill. I a number of interesting bottom feeders that I couldn't identify. They resembled clown loaches and were about 4-8 inches long.

Can anyone help me identify them? I couldn't catch one, and it's driving me nuts!

Thanks so much! [:p]

[Wink] Take a picture and post it. Then it shouldn't be any problem.

Here's a few photos of the fish....it's about 6 inches long, and has a mouth on the bottom instead of the front. It looks almost like a hornyhead chub, but I'm not sure.

Any help would be awesome! Thanks!

They look a LOT to me like a typical creek chub. I used to keep them in an aquarium, hardy fish and will eat anything.

GREAT live bait too!
