The years 1st Pikes

Fished Yuba and it was slow, did manage 2 Pikes. There were tons of Perch. Water still needs too warm. Graphed tons of fish that didn't want too play. Tried everything possible.

Nothing like the first one to start the year even if it was bait sized [:p] i know you fish yuba alot how busy is it on the weekends down there i have been going for tigermuskies lately and doing good but i cant stand the drive and i would like to get into some perch at yuba

Its not to busy, it still needs to warm for better fishing, last time out not even a Perch or Walleye. Should be biting real quick. We are usually off the water by 2 unless the bite is hot. Other times we stay till dark and its not to bad.

My dad and brother went down to yuba last thursday. NO walleye to be found. However they did mange close to 20 perch. they were bottom bouncing over by the damn in 20 to 28 feet of water.
