Electronics
#1
Being an "Old Fart" I've never used any type of electronics whatsoever and my fishing partners are just as dumb as I am. So we're looking for some advice.
The majority of our fishing is done from a Jon boat hauled in the back of a pickup with a trolling motor for power. We fish mainly in creeks, smaller lakes and ponds.
What we are looking for is a portable fish finder that will work in fairly shallow water (2-30 feet deep) and is easily attached and removed from the boat.
Could somebody please help us dumbass country boys out?

In the meantime, We'll keep on casting and reeling.

what you are looking for is a portable unit.

it will come with a suction cup aposed to the mount type transducer.

BottomLine makes one, I have one for a number of years. I even use it for ice fishing. it takes two 6 volt latern batteries.

now mine is now some thirty years old, still works fine. tho it aint got all the wistles and bells the new modles have.

Just ask for a portable fish finder while shopping on line or in stores...[Wink]
