Kids Fishing Days

Kids' fishing days are popping up like dandelions in north central Montana. Already, Lewistown and Great Falls have set their annual youth fishing extravagances.


<br>Great Falls 14 th annual fishing day will occur 9 a.m. to noon, June 7, at Wadsworth Pond on the west side of town.<br>

<br>As in past years, the local chapter of Walleyes Unlimited will give away fishing poles or tackle boxes to youngsters who complete a series of educational stations. Besides WU other organizations helping will be: Fish, Wildlife and Parks, the Missouri River Flyfishers, Malmstrom Air Force Base, the Audubon Club and ham radio operators.<br>

<br>To reach Wadsworth Pond head west on Central Avenue over I-15, turn north on 34 th St. NW, then turn west on Wilkinson Lane and follow to the park.<br>

<br>Lewistown's annual kid's fishing day will be 10 a.m. to noon, June 14, at the town's Frog Ponds. The day will consist of three educational stations, prize drawings and, of course, fishing.<br>
