Tubin Local Pond
#1
Went to the local pond last week, just had time to get pics off my phone and post them here. The pond is in clearfield, not much room for shore fishing, but not too many tubers out there. Fished from 4-8 and got 17 all togehter, most were 15 inches, with a few going a little bigger. Only ever use Bar S hot dogs, not the jumbo by the way, but the regular. NIce and close and always catch good sized catfish.

I have fished your local pond many times. There are some huge cats in there if you know where to find them.[Wink]

[cool][#0000ff]Nice report and pics. That one cat looks kinda bleached out. Must be some potent stuff in that water. Maybe it is "hot dog" pollution (LOL).[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]A lot of folks hear about using hot dogs for bait but never try it. We have been using them for quite a few years...plain and with other scents added. They are inexpensive (compared to shrimp), they stay on the hook good and the kitties love them.[/#0000ff]

[#0000ff]One of the greatest things about tubing is that it lets you fish a lot of spots the bank tanglers can't get to. And, on lakes with limited shore access, it is the only way to go. It is good that they allow tubes on that lake. They have restrictions on some of the community ponds.[/#0000ff]
