I enjoy fishing for flathead catfish and was hoping other catfishermen want to share their catfishing experiences with others.<br><center><IMG SRC="http://photos.netclubs.com/live/photos/photocenter/c/b/h/e/heqvqt7783ah3bvu0188nkobj0/redshirt2.JPG"></center><br><br>I fish these fine trophies with rod and reel and release them after pictures and weights are taken.<br><br><center><IMG SRC="http://photos.netclubs.com/live/photos/photocenter/c/b/h/e/heqvqt7783ah3bvu0188nkobj0/61e.jpg"></center><br><br>Feel free to e-mail me about catfishing or visit<br><A HREF="http://www.angelfire.com/oh/katchaser/" target="_new"> Katchaser </A> <br><br><center><IMG SRC="http://photos.netclubs.com/live/photos/photocenter/c/b/h/e/heqvqt7783ah3bvu0188nkobj0/55a.jpg"></center><br><br><br><br>Catchabiggun,<br> Robby

The mature flathead prefer a live bait. One of my favorites is a 5-8 inch goldfish.

I catch several trophy size cats each year and release them.

I don't catch as many as the boyz targetting smaller cats but I get a few.

Using 36 # test line or lighter a catman has to trust in his drag and stay sharp to land big fish.

Katfish,

Haven't seen you around much. Glad you're back! Beautiful cats, as usual. I'd love to be able to use goldfish for bait around here but they're illegal to use here in Minnesota. They don't want them taking over lakes just like the carp are doing.
