Boat repair ?
#1
I need to replace the plywood core in the transom on my aluminum boat. Does anyone know where to get marine grade plywood or something that might work better?

[#000000]I have used pressure-treated plywood from home improvement or wood distributors in the past. You can apply a second coat of water worthy paint for more protection. Have had good luck with this way.[/#000000]

This is a product that I was considering once when I had a transom problem (I ended up selling the boat, so I didn't complete the repair):

I was able to order marine grade plywood from Home Depot. It only took a couple of days for delivery.
