REESE NOMINATED FOR ESPY AWARD

Berkley Professional Angler Skeet Reese has been nominated Best Outdoor Athlete at the 2008 Excellence in Sports Performance Award (ESPY) created by American Cable Television and ESPN. The 2008 ESPY's will be held at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles, California.


<br>"I'm stunned to be considered for something like this," Reese said. "I'm really looking forward to going to Los Angeles and hanging out with world-class athletes from other sports. It's really cool."<br>

<br>The Auburn, CA., native won BASS Angler of the Year honors in 2007 and is currently ranked fourth in the 2008 Angler of the Year race. Reese has been a professional angler for 11 years, notched 3 BASS victories and amassed 40 top ten finishes over his career.<br>

<br>The ESPY is an annual awards ceremony that began in 1993 and recognizes individual and team athletic achievement as well as other sports-related achievements throughout the year.<br>

<br>The ESPY awards are chosen variously through voting from fans, sportswriters, broadcaster, sports executives, sports experts and ESPN personalities.<br>

<br>The 2008 ESPY Awards will be hosted by - music artist - Justin Timberlake.
