OUTDOOR CHANNEL HOOKS BILL DANCE FOR NEW SALTWATER SERIES

TEMECULA, California -- Outdoor Channel, America's Leader in Outdoor TV, has reeled in popular outdoor TV host and fishing expert Bill Dance for a new series entitled Bill Dance Saltwater. Launching in Outdoor Channel's popular "Friday Night Fishing" block on January 2, 2009, Bill Dance Saltwater follows Dance as he unveils a plethora of easily accessible saltwater fishing destinations right here in North America.


<br>From the Northeast to the Florida Keys and westward to the Gold Coast and Texas, Dance's new multi-platform program introduces viewers to a treasure trove of fish that are totally accessible to the average angler. Later this year, the series will launch an accompanying website where viewers can find information to experience Dance's exact same adventure affordably.<br>

<br>"We aim to give the viewers the information and confidence to say, 'Hey, I can do that too,'" said Dance. "This series will introduce anglers to amazing fishing destinations right in their own backyards, and we will also prepare them with the background they need to really have an excellent fishing experience."<br>

<br>Each episode features Dance partnered with a noted saltwater expert who specializes in the catch of the week and educates viewers on fishing techniques, seasons and baits.<br>

Why would they put a Freshwater Geek to be in charge of Saltwater fishing?

That would be like me trying to film ice fishing videos of me fishing in the middle of the Mojave dessert in the midd of July. It doesn't make sense.[crazy]
