Jordanelle still on fire
#1
I was getting some yard work done when Cbr called and wanted to catch a few at Jordanelle...

I meet up with him about 2:30 and we started in the rock cliff arm we got a few but it was slow...A storm was moving in and the wind started to kick up a bit...

After about 30 min. of wind we could see that some of the skiers were gone so we headed for the main lake, wind wind and more wind, we tried to find some place to fish that was out of the wind...

About 5:30 the wind slowed down some and we could see a nice rainbow in the east, so we headed for some of the spots that was on the main lake...

For the next two hours we had fun catching bass of all sizes from 8" to over 3 lb with many doubles, we forgot to take pictures for most of the afternoon but we did get a few..

Most bass came in 5' to 15' of water on senko type and spider jigs and gulp minnows...

It's always nice when mother nature pulls out the magic fly swatter and helps a few buzz boys off the pond! Nice work Cliff.

We ended up heading home sooner then we planed like every one else...

This year it seems that just about all the bass have old hook marks and new one...

It just goes to show how good catch and release works...
