Hey Guys-

So when a man's little grand daughter asked him to hold her barbie fishing poll when she used the bathroom, he landed the North Carolina state record catfish!

Why can't we all have that luck!

My little 5 year old grand daughter caught a 2 pound 6 ounce Rainbow trout on a Barbie pole! I thought she might possibly catch a 8 or 9 ounce at the most. She brought it to the net by herself. I thought the little rig would let go at any moment. She still has it and a picture of the fish as a decoration.

Hah! Wow that's awesome Frank. It is funny to see what can happen when kids are just out there dropping a line simply to have fun, not go out for the big one.

Countless times on the shore of Lake Champlain I have seen kids say, "Ummmm Dad I think I have a big one" and then they go to help expecting a sunfish and find it to be a 3lb large mouth!
