[font "Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif"][#000000][size 2]WASHINGTON, D.C.--State fish and wildlife agencies will share more than $478 million in excise taxes paid by America's anglers, boaters and hunters, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS) Director Steve Williams announced last week.[/size][/#000000][/font]

[font "Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif"][#000000][size 2]The agencies will use the money for fish and wildlife conservation by acquiring land, improving habitat and conducting research, education and other programs. The funds will also help pay for hunter safety, aquatic education and fish and wildlife-related recreation projects.
