Tried to fish Spier falls section of the river above Glens Falls today. Was going well until the power company informed us they were drawing down the river by 10' and we better hightail it for the ramp as we would be high and dry in an hour.
We caught several smallies to 2.5 lbs before we were warned.
Went down to the Sherman Island section and finished out the day with several more smallies and a Pikerel.
