Portable fishfinders

Anyone ever try a portable fish finder for bank fishing? if so what product do you recommend?

Sorry for the late response been out of circulation for a while but there is one called Fishin Buddy with a sidefinder that is supposed to work on piers I don't know if it would work from a bank I tried with my portable fishfinder mounting the transducer sideways once from a small rowboat and it didn't work hope this helps let me know if you find anything else out
