Was flipping through the channels and they were showing a Fish 'O' Mania fishing competition. I believe it's held in the UK. It was held on a round man-made lake stocked with Carp, Barbel, and other bottom feeders (I think) with 16 competitors, 8 preassigned stations on each side of the lake. You have to qualify and the winner (most total kg's) receives 25,000pounds (~50,000usd). It was really interesting as I've never seen it or their techniques. Majority of the competitors used method feeders and what looked like extremely long cane poles and small hooks. Has anyone participated or experienced this type of fishing? Wanna share tips or stories?
